Decorating the house for Christmas is week long process for me usually hitting high gear when we finally get the tree in the house. So this has been the week to drag the bins of decorations out of the attic and sort through the glitter and garland.
I wanted to keep it simple this year and not over decorate but still keep things fresh and festive.
So here is a peek into my home for the Christmas Season:
I think I will add some greenery to the mantel to finish it off.
That’s enough of a peek for now I hear a cup of hot chocolate calling me.

With Thanksgiving next week and Christmas soon to follow I was ready to clear out Fall décor and start thinking about Christmas. Not quite ready to get a tree but wanting to start the Christmas cheer sooner than later. I love, love, love Christmas time and all my decorations and I only get to enjoy them for a month each year.

So that’s a sneak peek into my home at the moment. As the Thanksgiving turkey is being made into leftovers the real Christmas decorating will begin with JOY !
